Kara graduated from Purdue University in 2019 with a Bachelor of Arts in Interior Design. In 2021, she passed her NCIDQ exam and became a registered Interior Designer. She is passionate about designing a built environment for everyone to enjoy in all phases of life.

Outside of Halstead, she enjoys traveling, drawing, spending family time with her family, watching Bluey with her daughter, and playing with her dog, Molly.
