The Whitewater Valley Railroad (WWVR) has asked us to prepare a master plan for their proposed future Interpretation Center and Operating Railroad Museum.

The process involves Section 106 filing and Historic Preservation approvals for some of the development of the master plan. The presentation board below begins to outline our proposals for moving the Rushville Passenger Depot to the site, re-building an existing turn table, and building a new roundhouse and train shed.

The site, located at the crossing of HW 121 and Veteran's Memorial Drive in Connersville, IN, is presently a barren field. The WWVR proposal would create a one-of-a-kind Railroad Museum, focused on educating the public about steam and diesel locomotives from the mid-nineteen hundreds, as well as provide many of the required amenities for the WWVR's working trains. Currently the WWVR provides train rides from Connersville to scenic Metamora, Indiana.
