Finally, in late 2007, the Depot Relocation project commenced. Maxwell Construction has been busy on site preparing the basement foundation walls and infrastructure for the Depot Move, which was scheduled for Sunday, February 11, 2008. The museum site is located on the northeast corner of Veteran's Memorial Parkway and Highway 121, just south of Connersville, IN.

The depot arrived on-site without problems. Getting turned around might be tough (above). The contractor prepared well enough, as the depot is maneuvered one last time prior to being placed into its final location on the new foundation and floor framing (below).
