Newport on the Monon is a multifaceted housing development in Indianapolis's Martindale-Brightwood neighborhood. Located just over two miles from the Circle in Indianapolis on the Monon Trail, with the completion of the new Cultural Trail the project is completly connected to downtown via bike paths. The project was designed to face both the Monon Trail and the street, meaning the building has no 'back'. Comprised of three buildings, the development incorporates both townhomes and apartment flats, with a mixture of market rate, income dependent, and supportive housing units.
