The premise of this project was to create an addition to look as if it was part of the existing building from the beginning. The addition is two stories with a walk-out basement. A stucco exterior, along with all the other exterior and interior materials, were used to match the existing home.

The rooms on the first floor included a family room with built-in shelving and large bay window; an expanded kitchen with new appliances and cabinetry; and a small room adjacent to the dining room that encompassed a small fireplace.

The second floor includes a master suite with a custom master bath with a spa tub located in a bay window. Two more bedrooms and a laundry room finish out the second floor. The walk-out basement ,which includes a billiards room and an office with custom shelving, opens into a sunken stone patio that is surrounded a hot tub.
