Mary Rigg Neighborhood Center

The addition of 43,000 square feet provide a number of neighborhood services in one facility including 39 senior housing apartments, a Head Start program, WIC health services, administrative spaces, a soup kitchen, a senior activity center, adult education classrooms, childcare facilities, a gymnasium, computer classrooms, a food pantry, and a central courtyard. The city-block sized project incorporates the former Indianapolis Public School 49.

This project was the recipiant of Keep Indianapolis Beautiful's 1999 Merit Award for Architecture and a 2000 Indiana Concrete and Masonry Association Award.
