Liberty Town Center
Liberty, IN

The Liberty Town Center project was developed as a feasability study for the Union County Development Corporation. As the county seat of Union County, Indiana, the Liberty town square is stocked with many original "Main Street" facades as well as a stately, rusticated limestone courthouse.

Three buildings at the intersection of Union and Market Streets were investigated as to their feasibility for re-use. Currently, the buildings are a shadow of their past uses; variety stores, retail storefronts, apartments, auto and furniture sales. The feasibility study, currently in progress, investigates several options of modifying the existing buildings to provide for new offices, commercial kitchen space, community space, accessibility, retail storefronts, exterior patio space, markets and the potential for expanded municipal service offices.
