Before & After

The restoration / addition of this 1909 Carnegie Library gave new life to the surrounding community. Click here to view the main project page.

The original concrete steps were replaced with an exact copy, wood windows and entry were repaired and refinished, and the exterior brick was cleaned.

The original cloumns and arches (pictured below) were hidden in walls that divided the interior into small maze-like classrooms. The floor plan was revised to resemble the original plan with a central lobby, two glass-walled classrooms, and several offices.
