The restoration / addition of this 1909 Carnegie Library provides a neighborhood conference room, computer classroom, adult education classrooms, offices, and a multi-use area for the neighborhood. The addition provides an entry at ground level for handicapped accessibility throughout the building. Funding sources include the Lilly Endowment, Westside Community Development Corporation, Historic Landmarks Foundation of Indiana, Indianapolis Foundation, CDBG funds, and the Historic Preservation Trust.
