Hawthorne Senior Center & Daycare

Directly across the street from our renovation of the Hawthorne Education Annex is the Hawthorne Community Center (Above).

This project will include the renovation of the existing building and adding a Day Care Center to the North to expand their current services. In addition to the existing building renovation / addition, Hawthorne is planning to build a stand-alone Senior Center, complete with activity space, offices, conference rooms, classrooms and a small number of senior housing units.

The project is currently undergoing schematic design review.

The new Senior's Center (Above & Below) will be detached form the existing center and will provide several classrooms for use by the community.

The new Daycare addition (Above & Below) will double the size of their existing Daycare Program. It will be connected to the existing center in order to utilize the existing gymnasium.
