This project is a unique collaboration between the University
of Indianapolis, Clarian Health Net, Southeast Neighborhood Development
(SEND), and Southeast Community Services formed to provide a community
health and social services center.
Renovations
to the ca. 1925 former Lodge building as well as a 30,000 square foot
addition (Left) provides services which include a dental clinic, ob-gyn,
pediatrics and adult medicine health clinic, senior citizens activity
space, community meeting spaces, social services, and youth and job-training
programs. The University of Indianapolis has off-campus classrooms and
offices for occupational and physical therapy, sociology, psychiatric
counseling and nurse training and more.
